Feb 05, 2014 · After the IP was updated on my Windows 8 PC, I can no longer connect to my Hyper-V server using Hyper-V manager on my Windows 8 PC. The reason is because on the Hyper-V server's HOSTS file (C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\HOSTS), the IP to hostname mapping for my Windows 8 PC no longer valid.
