I was having a problem because the IP address was automatically assigned by my wireless router (Linksys) which has an address of 192.168.1.1. In summary, the instructions explained how to temporarily set up the IP address for my computer so that I can connect to the TP-Link device (WRT700N). Admit I've only had my 4510L WiFi device for a month, but since I got it I've never been able to sign in to 192.168.1.1 to use any of the tools to change password, etc. I've tried both IE and Firefox, but neither can find the site at all. I am assuming it is the TP-Link device. Please edit your question and add the output of ifconfig and ping 192.168.1.1. You should also explain how you are attemting to connect to the router.
